Experience the inspiring story, Sunshine Super Girl at Darwin Festival

Landbridge and Darwin Port are pleased to continue their support of Darwin Festival as a distinguished partner and sponsor of Sunshine Super Girl.  A quintessential Australian performance, Sunshine Super Girl follows the story of Wiradjuri Australian tennis legend Evonne Goolagong.  

Launching in the Northern Territory, where it all started, Sunshine Super Girl’s heart-warming story of triumph is a must see for Festival goers.

Darwin Port Non-Executive Director Terry O’Connor said Landbridge is proud to continue its support as Distinguished partner of the Festival.

“Darwin Port continues to support community events that directly contribute to a vibrant and prosperous future for the region.

“We’re really pleased to sponsor the Festival for the sixth year running with our support of the inspiring story – Sunshine Super Girl.

“It will be great to sit courtside (so to speak) and feel like we’re experiencing one of the greatest achievements in sporting history,” said Mr O’Connor.

Darwin Port CEO Peter Dummett said fostering emerging First Nations Talent is incredibly important to the Port.

“We have long term partnerships with First Nations Foundations Clontarf and Stars, and we are delighted Darwin Festival will host groups of their students at the schools performance of Sunshine Super Girl,” he said.

We feel so privileged to support Sunshine Super Girl, as sharing Evonne’s story will no doubt inspire the Nation’s up and coming stars,” said Mr Dummett.

Sunshine Super Girl has three scheduled shows which, includes a dedicated school’s performance.
